South Sudan Team
The John Dau Foundation has a dedicated group of South Sudanese and Kenyan staff on the ground in South Sudan working tirelessly to promote and fulfill the Foundation's mission. They work in difficult conditions because of their commitment to improving healthcare in South Sudan and seeing the Duk Lost Boys Clinic have the greatest possible impact on South Sudanese citizens.
Our U.S. and South Sudan staff members work together to provide for the day-to-day needs of the clinic and the organization.
Leonard is from Kenya and works tirelessly to maintain the standards of the clinic.
Joh Deng Abot
Born and raised in Duk County, Joh is the key to making the clinic run smoothly.
David is our chief clinical officer and works to ensure all medical staff provide the highest quality of care.
Kris works with the team on the ground in Duk toward the continued success of the project by ensuring the correct medicines are procured, food is made available and all administrative tasks are in line with the organization's commitments.
Simon works in the inpatient department. His boisterous laugh keeps everyone in good spirits during busy days at the clinic.
Paul has worked at the Duk Lost Boys Clinic for many years, and keeps the clinic connected to the community.
Jacob makes certain all the relevant data is being collected and reported at the clinic.
Nurse and Midwife
Teresa works with patients, children and expectant mothers.
Nick takes care to ensure that the correct drugs are procured and prescriptions filled at the clinic.
When things break, Fred is the one we call. His goal is to keep the clinic working as efficiently as possible.
Peter has worked with the Foundation for many years and is strongly committed to helping the people in Duk County.
Mark works with patients that have been tested for HIV/AIDS and other diseases and counsels them throughout their treatment.
David administers all the lab tests which patients need and gets the results back quickly and accurately.
Nurse and EPI Manager
Abraham works as a nurse and outreach manager at the clinic. He organizes and administers immunization outreach campaigns in Duk County.
Jacob conducts nutritional screenings at the clinic and takes part in outreach.
Abhram works in the maternity ward and is a trained ultrasound technician.
Peter works as the clinic's nutritionist and takes part in outreach to increase nutrition rates in the surrounding areas.
Teresa works in the maternity ward and is committed to helping and counseling the many young mothers we see at the clinic.
Ajing works to direct traffic in the clinic. He makes sure all the patients are in the correct place and everyone has the correct documentation.
Dabora works with Nick to ensure the patients have the correct medication and understand how it should be administered.
Nyantut works to prepare the meals for the staff at the clinic.
Adut works to keep the clinic clean on a daily basis.
Akuol is very dedicated to cooking meals for the clinic staff.
Deng works as a clinic guard. He is by far the best dancer at the clinic!
Chol works as a guard and helps around the clinic compound.
