The official web site of the documentary God Grew Tired of Us featuring John Dau, narration by Nicole Kidman and was Executive Produced by Brad Pitt. The film won both the audience and critics awards at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.

National Geographic
The National Geographic Society is one of the world's largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations. They published John's autobiography in 2007.

NewMarket Films
Founded in 1994 by William Tyler and Chris Ball, NewMarket Films is a leading producer and distributor of independent films. They produced the documentary God Grew Tired of Us which featured John Dau.
